Apply Brain & Cognition concepts and methods while learning to statistically assess behaviour and cognitive functioning. With an emphasis on practicals rather than lectures, you'll build essential skills in scientific writing and presenting.
  • Semester 1

Throughout the programme, you will progressively develop and apply your knowledge in real-world settings.

In Brain and Mind in Business and Society, you explore how insights from Brain & Cognition research can be applied across business, government and society.

Applied Experimental Skills in Brain and Cognition equips you with the experimental methods and research skills relevant to the field.

Finally, in Real World Case Studies in Brain and Cognition, you bring everything together by tackling challenges from external organisations. Working in teams, you develop and deploy a research proposal for a real client from the business, public or non-profit sector. This gives you hands-on experience collaborating with external partners and addressing real-world questions.

  • Semester 2

From January to June, you will work on the two large graduation assignments, Master's Thesis Brain and Cognition in Society and the Master's Internship Brain and Cognition in Society: the final academic masterpieces. You will show your ability to apply academic knowledge and skills acquired during the master's track to a real-world research question. Students are trained to have a professional attitude, and address an applied research question in the field of Brain and Cognition in an independent and proactive manner.
